6:28 I would create an interactive Muppet Dark Ride attraction. Guest would interact with the ride through voice commands and hand gestures. The guests reactions would trigger several effects like blasts of smoke and falling set pieces. The ride would be located in Muppet Courtyard and would follow the story of a tour of Muppet Studios gone wrong. The guest would try to help the muppets allow thier journey.

Jack, have you seen the new S&S Axis coaster tech? Could this be an option for the avengers ride?

I wish Disney made a ride about "create your own Iron Man armor and TEST it" kind of thing where the main feat is about flying, individually, no simulator crap

the background looks nice, not amateur or anything, but the previous set was much better. If we had never seen the previous sofa set this would be fine.. but

I love the new background! It looks very professional and futuristic! The background lighting is really cool, too. I hope you're able to merge this neat background with some of the personal, coziness of the old set. Also, I know others have suggested having some more distance between you and the camera, and I agree. Thanks for continuing to adapt and improve your content! Your channel is exellent and I'm excited to watch it continue to grow!

    See ya real soon! 😁

Mickey Appears at 6:28 β€” If I were to devise an interactive ride, I’d hide the interactivity under the hood. With Kinect-like tech you could read guests’ reactions and alter the experience accordingly. For example, you could have a ride based on Duck Tales that read audience reactions to alter the adventure the ducks are on. If I were to make a ride myself, though, I’d make a ride that was more a framework of effects that were modular so the ride could be changed regularly and seasonally, like the Nightmare-Before-Christmas-ing of the Haunted Mansion every year but in a more deliberate and cohesive way. Then you could have the ride and exit area set up as an integral part of the ride – particular with the new in-line app they’ve released – allowing guests to influence the ride’s evolution. Now, what that ride would be … we’ll, I’ll have to give that some thought …

6:28 – I think it would be great if there was a Star Wars attraction that somehow used AR glasses to put you in an actual lightsaber battle with all of the classic characters from both sides of the force. Where the interactivity would come in is that you would feel actual resistance and pressure as you swung the lightsaber at your enemy and you hit them or something else. So, it could be and 20 or so other people fighting it out against the new order or perhaps even the Jedi.

Probably a Jurassic Park themed attraction with rifles and pistols that would shoot lasers at targets. It would probably mostly use animatronics or other actual structures to hit and gain points, with a Tyrannosaurus or Indominus popping out at the end as a final boss to get lots of points.

These rides look awesome! I'm not gonna lie, but regardless of if Disney has never used a technology before, it's still only innovative when it was first used in the world. Calling something innovative every time it's used for the first time by a different company is going against the very essence of what innovation means. Disney tweaking tech isn't innovation.

4:50 That's like saying the Ferris Wheel in DCA was innovative for Disney Parks because they never had one before. πŸ™„ Sounds laughably silly. If it is the arm mechanism then it's not innovation, period.

Ugh, I don't want any more screen rides. I want real rides with real set pieces, that you really move through.

    6:28 The Hidden Mickey appears.
Hi Jack, My take on the Avengers ride, is that it could be a reverse steeplechase ride, where like a hanging flight coaster, the guest is seated normally, in the Quinjet, and leaves the station say with 6 rails being used. Two for the Quinjet and the rest for the riders.

Added onto this, can be a powered lazy susan (Roundabout), attached to the back of the guest, to allow when inverted a flying sensation, if the unit consists of two plates, with 30 degree of centre positioning on both to allow a simulator motion, similar to the mechanisms on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Except, by rotating the centre rotational joint between the two plates, the guest can be tipped forward and back left and right. More so with a larger angle being employed.

I can explain more on my twitter account @phattgreg

it wont be a kooka arm as universal owns that currently, and Disney is not allowed to use it in their parks. Not sure if thats in california though.

Really not sure about the new set. It's all quite close and claustrophobic. It's almost like you're just starting out and this is your first try, instead of several years down the line.

As for the Avengers ride, I just eyeroll a bit at more screen based attractions.

Another projection dome? I guess they don't consider motion sickness people. Hey Disney how about going back to practical and less projection. I got so sick from The Forbidden Journey.

I was waiting for the couch the first half of the video πŸ˜‚ love the background (just focus on you the next time!) We need to see more of you, you always use your hands a lot while talking and that makes it more alive. While being more upclose it feels more distant

I would create a Interactive ride based on Iron man the the Avengers Cast Defeating Thanos and his rain taking over the Disney Parks. I would use a flight system for each individual guest to control where they fly with motion sensors embedded in the ride system so that the guests have the freedom to see where the weaponized energy is being fired at and if the effect is powerful enough that destroys thanos. The ride would utilize the use of screens and live set pieces to simulate the authenticity of the attraction.

I miss the old set because it had more life and had cool trinkets all over it, but I have to know where you got those boards! I need those!
